Steve Verrier (NMLS# 228111) has been a mortgage originator since 1994 starting in Rhode Island. He had graduated from the University of Maine in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife management, minor in Biology. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout as a youth, Steve had long loved experiencing the great outdoors and had strong hopes of a career in them. Shortly after graduating however, he learned the hard reality that in some fields, experience matters more than knowledge and education. Having excelled in High School with the Distributive Education Clubs of America winning State Awards in Finance and Marketing, an invitation from a friend to join the ranks of Loan Officers at Advanced Financial Services (now Embrace Home Loans) was a welcome realignment of career goals. Steve continued his mortgage career in RI through 2001. He also joined the mass of people in 1999 that went back to college for an associates degree in Microcomputing and Networking. In 2001, Steve relocated from New England to Florida intending to pursue an IT career, but in the aftermath of the attacks of 9/11/21 employment opportunities quickly dried up. Steve obtained his FL License for Loan Origination that year and has been helping folks purchase the homes of their dreams with a smile ever since! Having associated with several lending institutions (both broker and lender) thoughout his career, Steve is currently associated and originates mortgages with the team at ANE Lending LLC (NMLS# 1999497), a brokerage with it’s headquarters in Jacksonville FL. Living in Palm Coast, FL but licensed in the entire state; Steve mainly covers the southern NE FL area including but not limited to Flagler, Volusia and St Johns counties.
